special campaign was launched in 2005-06 for ensuring adequate water supply to Scheduled
Castes.
2. Improvement being done by way of :- Ø Drilling additional tubewells. Ø Laying independent pipelines from water works. Ø Constructing boosting stations. 3. 500 Scheduled Caste Bastis benefited during 2005-06. 4. During 2006-07, another 450 Scheduled Caste Bastis are to be benefited at a cost of Rs. 6 crore. 5. Indira Gandhi Drinking Water Supply Scheme. |
